Family & Friends CPR Kit
Family & Friends CPR is a classroom-based course that can be led by a facilitator (a community member, family member, or friend) who wishes to share the lifesaving skills of CPR with others. This course is video-led and includes skills practice throughout the course. Skills are taught by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows participants to practice on a CPR training manikin while skills are demonstrated in the course video.
Community members may borrow our Family & Friends CPR Kit which includes all the materials necessary to facilitate a class for your friends or family.
Businesses
Private Heartsaver or Friends and Family classes can be arranged for your business and can be on-site or within our facility (all Saturday classes must be held at SCPFD Station 53). Training in CPR, AED, and First Aid is essential if your staff will be working directly with the public. Please contact us if you are interested in a private version of any of the classes listed above. Private classes require a minimum of 6 participants.
