Requesting Services from Fire Prevention

The San Carlos Park Fire District leads the way into fire safety through close and critical inspections of all occupancies within our jurisdiction, new and existing alike. We are committed to serving the people of the SCPFD through leadership in life safety, inspection, investigation, code  enforcement, and code management.  SCPFD has a true commitment to protecting the more than 38,000 people in our community each day through fire prevention and life safety.

Procedure for requesting fire flow tests

Submit a letter of request to Station #53 via: mail (19591 Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy. Fort Myers, FL. 33913), Fax (239-267-7505), in person, or by email to; lennon@sancarlosfire.org
The request must include: Project address, Site Plan showing the project with closest fire hydrant, and contact information (most tests are faxed, or emailed when complete). There is a $75.00 fee for fire flow testing. The request will not be processed until payment is received. After payment is received, tests are generally processed within 3 to 5 business days.

Procedure for requesting fire inspections

Fire inspections are scheduled through the fire prevention division located at, Station 53. The phone number is (239)267-7525.

The inspections are scheduled by the Fire Inspectors themselves, your call may be screened to ensure you contact the correct inspector. Generally, Fire inspections are scheduled and completed with a 24 to 48 hour period.  The best times of the day to contact an inspector include the following: 08:30am through 9:00am, and 3:30pm through 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
